We’re proud to source our meat from farmers and fishermen we trust, who are committed to doing the right thing from start to finish. All our suppliers are carefully vetted and routinely inspected to make sure they meet our standards for high-quality meat that is humanely raised and responsibly sourced. In fact, we’re the only B-Corp Certified meat and seafood company to source only from partners with meaningful third-party animal welfare certification. All our land based suppliers are audited and certified by either Certified Humane or Global Animal Partnership (GAP) and seafood suppliers are held accountable through audits by Marine Steward Council (MSC) and the Responsible Fisheries Management (RFM) programs, all of which are focused on regulating, measuring, and ensuring sustainable practices.
As a result of our high sourcing standards, we are limited on where we can source from and prioritize sourcing from the United States. The other countries we source from are Australia and Canada. For example, our pasture-raised, 100% grass-fed beef is from Australia—where the climate and pasture are ideal for raising 100% grass-fed cattle.
